Carrie Cherveny focuses her practice in the area of employment litigation and employee relations in both state and federal courts. She has represented private sector employers in litigation under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FLSA, the FMLA, the Florida Civil Rights Act, and the Florida Whistleblowers' Act. Carrie has also responded to charges of discrimination filed with federal, state and local administrative agencies. She counsels employers in problem prevention, employee discipline and termination, and employment discrimination and harassment. Carrie also conducts employment law seminars and training programs. Prior to entering law school, Carrie was a human resources professional specializing in start-up organizations and companies in transition. Carrie has extensive experience in policy development and management and employee training.
